Movie theaters in Weiden

The Neue Welt Kinocenter in Fichtestraße is very popular with movie theatergoers. A movie theater complex with state-of-the-art technology and equipment and a wide range of movies for young and old. The three movie theaters have a total of 569 seats.  Aside from that, the small movie theater “Studiokino” was newly renovated in 2014.

Apart from the latest movies, the Neue Welt Kinocenter also shows the performance by the Metropolitan Opera – a successful combination of movie theater and culture. Furthermore, the Weidener Filmgespräche take place regularly here, and a special movie is shown every Wednesday.
