Weidener Volksfest

The festival ground in Conrad-Röntgen-Straße turns into a big amusement park with  attractions, interesting rides, and shooting galleries. 

The many food stalls provide all kinds of delicious food to satisfy your appetite (like pretzels, cheese, fish on a stick, potato pancakes, cotton candy, almonds, gingerbread hearts, etc.), as does the beer hall, of course, with home-style cooked food and specially brewed festival beer. A colorful music program ensures the right mood for young and old.

There is also something for flea market fans – there’s a night flea market on Friday (from 4 p.m.) and a flea market on Saturday (from 7 a.m.) for you to have a browse.

Both outdoors and in a big tent set up for the purpose there is a wide variety of different goods and services provided for the visitors’ enjoyment.
