Max-Reger-Year 2023

Max Reger

Throughout his life, Max Reger (1873-1916) was a controversial artist. Critics ranged from the highly praised "genius" to the composer with "repulsive" music. Max Reger polarized the masses with his works, which are characterized by great disruption and the highest expressivity. Nevertheless, the exceptional artist is considered by many to be a musical pioneer of modernity.
